Emergence: An ode to the ascendence of the young African artist.
26 May – 18 June 2021

This has been a very exciting and fulfilling project for our team.
As we take a step back and consider the collection of talent and passion, we are in awe of the minds and creators of today who share with us so freely and willingly. Emergence is not only the celebration of talent and voices we are surrounded with, but a collection of movements and the shared conversation of our time.

Artists include Chiderah Bosah and Tosin Kalejaye from the northern regions of Nigeria, Daniel Tetteh Nartey, Hamid Nii Nortey and Richard Adusu from across the coastal country of Ghana, down to Qhamanande Maswana, Zanele Montle and Juan Stockenstroom in the southern-most tip of South Africa – we always knew Africa is rich in natural resources; this exhibition illustrates the opulence of our talent and the daring ambitions of our culture.

“The Gallery has always focused on showcasing emerging talent, the rising stars of tomorrow. Our commitment remains as we continue to assist artists by providing a platform to build their names and to shine bright.” – Christopher Moller.

Emergence is our preview to you; our 2021 calendar promises magnificent work form incredible artists. Contact our team to be included in exhibition releases.
